Profess Your Sins — And Stop Protecting Them

What you refuse to confess, you often continue to carry.

We protect our sins by making excuses.

We protect them by blaming others.

We protect them by minimizing what happened.

We protect them by saying, "That's just who I am."

But Jesus didn't come to help us hide our sin. He came to set us free from it.

Confession is not humiliation.

Confession is surrender.

When you finally say, "Lord, this is mine. I did it. I thought it. I said it. I allowed it. Forgive me and change me," something begins to break.

The enemy wants you to hide in shame.

God wants you to step into the light.

Don't protect what God is trying to remove.

Confess it.

Repent of it.

Release it.

And let God restore your soul.

"Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy." — Proverbs 28:13

Stop protecting the sin. Start protecting your soul.
